How many people can the gîte accommodate?+
Up to 11 people, across 4 bedrooms (beds for 3 + 4 + 2 + 2, which can be arranged as doubles or singles).
Are pets allowed?+
No, pets are not allowed.
Are bed linen and towels provided?+
Yes, bed linen and towels (cotton sheets, towels) are included in the price.
What are the check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in at 5:00 pm, check-out at 11:00 am.
Can we arrive earlier or leave later?+
Yes, on request and subject to availability, for €120.
What is the minimum length of stay?+
2 nights minimum. Stays of 28 nights or more are also welcome, with a reduced nightly rate.
Is heating included?+
Yes, central gas heating is included in the price.
Is Wi-Fi available?+
Yes, with extenders throughout the house.
Is there parking?+
Yes, a secure courtyard with an automatic gate for 2 cars; free street parking is also usually available.
Can we smoke at the gîte?+
No smoking indoors. You may smoke outside; ashtrays are provided.
Can we host a party or event?+
No, parties and events are not allowed.
Can people outside our declared group join us?+
No, only the group declared at booking is welcome.
How much is the security deposit?+
€1,000.
Is cleaning included?+
No, a €140 cleaning fee is added to the price of the stay.
How do we pay for the stay?+
By bank transfer. For stays under 28 nights: 50% at booking, then 50% 30 days before arrival. For 28 nights or more: paid monthly, 30 days in advance.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Full refund more than 30 days before arrival. Between 30 and 10 days, the booking deposit is kept. Within 10 days, the full price of the stay is due. Cancellation insurance is suggested when booking.
Is the pool heated and supervised?+
The pool is not heated. It has a safety cover and is not supervised: swimming is under adult responsibility. It is open from 1 May to 30 September.
Is there equipment for children?+
Yes: a travel cot and high chair on request, a changing table, children's dishes, and books and toys for ages 0–5.
Can we get an invoice in the company's name?+
Yes, by giving the company name and SIRET number in the request form.
How do we get the keys?+
2 sets of keys and 2 gate remotes are handed over at check-in. A lost set is charged at €500.
Is there a noise monitor?+
Yes, a sound level meter measures decibels only (no conversations are recorded); the owners are alerted via an app if the threshold is exceeded.
What is the tourist tax and who pays it?+
Every adult guest pays a tourist tax (minors are exempt), calculated as a percentage of the nightly rate and passed on to the local authority via the tourist office. Full details on the Rates page.
Is the gîte accessible to guests with reduced mobility?+
One bedroom is step-free. The common areas include a few steps: the gîte suits guests who walk with an aid (cane, crutches) but is not wheelchair-accessible.
